Historic Navidad Baptist Cemetery

The historical dedication of Navidad Baptist Cemetery took place at 10:30 a.m. on April 18, 2009.  The ceremony was moved from the cemetery to the Schulenburg Expo Center due to heavy rains.  A crowd of about 125 people attended, including the George Overton Stoner Camp of Sons of Confederate Veterans, the Former Texas Rangers, a representative of the Jane Wells Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and a representative of the Lyons Masonic Lodge #195 of Schulenburg, Texas.

The book Navidad Country and Old Lyons CD are now available for purchase.
